This seems like something Torch would do an investigative piece on.
I just discovered that Netflix has the show now. If I’m not around for a few days it’s because I’m reliving my childhood.

Clearly your childhood was lacking. Best days at school were when the tv on a giant roller cart was waiting in the classroom and the magic school bus was fired up while the teacher fucked off for a bit.

A true Torch article would be speculation on how the Magic School Bus runs on distilled Choco Tacos. And it would be excellent.

In all seriousness I couldn’t find one that was spot on, a couple were close. Must be an artists adaptation.

Oh fuck I remember those, they made books too right? With the DVDs on the front cover?

Which books? The squareish red ones, or the wider ones with the fancy cover art?

Those were actually all TV episodes converted to book form. The other ones were independent of the TV series, most of them pre-dating the TV series by years

I always pegged it as late ‘40s International.Remember, they’re just chassis builders, so the body itself behind the firewall could be pretty different depending on who fabricated it.

There were even some edutainment games for various platforms as well. I had a couple.
In fact, that was the most contact I had with the series until later in life...
